
Keven Bloomfield Lives in Lampasas, TX. A native of Las Vegas NV, Belton TX, and Southern CA, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky where he met Oliver Hidalgo, before earning a Master’s in Architecture from the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. Keven is an associate AIA member in Austin TX and currently working on licensure. Adept in both residential and commercial architecture, Keven has experience across a wide range of projects to include residential remodels, additions and new builds and commercial remodels, developer fit-outs, and new builds. Commercial experience includes coffee shops, restaurants, retail, luxury car dealerships and event venues. Keven has direct experience from early concept to construction administration across the spectrum, and also understands the historic preservation and landmark review processes for both commercial or residential projects.
The oldest of seven, world traveler, University of Kentucky Gaines Fellow, TEDx Speaker, Founding member of the UPenn student architectural publication Babble Mag, Co-director of the 2019 UPenn Charity Fashion Show, Keven is an artist, writer, director, producer, actor, sound engineer, musician, poet, marine corps veteran, and youth soccer coach.
Keven is passionate about the intersection of childhood development, education, and cross-cultural empathy, and how these issues are addressed through the implementation of rigorous technological, material science, and culturally sensitive methodologies through the built environment from objects to buildings. The future is holistic, inclusive, and multi-faceted. As designers, we should strive to be those also.
