Cave Run Lake Home
OH Design Lab was recently commissioned to design a home for a couple in West Liberty, Kentucky, near Cave Run Lake. This is the second opportunity we’ve had working with folks in West Liberty, Kentucky, and we couldn’t be more delighted. Click Here to read about our other West Liberty Project.
Built into a steep hillside overlooking a stream with a view of Laurel Branch, this home is anchored with a concrete base containing a basement and other utility spaces. The living spaces are on the upper level, perched above the hillside.
The open, airy floor includes a kitchen/dining/living space with large window walls, while the west-facing main suite opens out to a screened-in porch where one can enjoy the beautiful wooded scenery.
An open deck on the west side helps expand the living room on occasion for family gatherings while connecting to the screened-in porch.
